From 6:00PM to 9:30PM

 Members of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 003 Elizabethtown,along with Veterans of Foreign War Post 10281 Vine Grove and Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 1-2 of Radcliff have been planning to host a Ceremony and Banquet to honor service members that served during Operation Iraq Freedom. March 19 th , 2023 marks the 20th Anniversary of the beginning of the ground war in Iraq. This event will take place at VFW Post 10281, 299 Briggs Lane Vine Grove Kentucky, on Saturday 25 March 2023. The evening will begin with an opening ceremony posting flags of all six branches of the Service, followed by the National Colors and The Commonwealth of Kentucky Flag, Upon Completion of the colors there will be a short ceremony honoring all the fallen Service members from Kentucky by members of the Auxiliary Units. Following the opening ceremony dinner will be served, and BG (R) Benjamin Adams former Deputy Adjutant General for the Kentucky National Guard and Past Commissioner for the Kentucky Department of Veteran Affairs is the guest speaker. The meal is free to OIF Veterans and their guest. Each Veteran will receive a 20th Anniversary Commemorative Coin as thank you.
