YMCA Y-NOW Program Needs Volunteers

Sunday, September 10, 2017

Children with incarcerated parents are 7x more likely to become incarcerated themselves. The Y-NOW Children of Prisoners Program aims to break that cycle, but we need YOUR help!  Volunteers are needed to support every area of the Y-NOW Program, however, we have a heightened need for volunteers to serve as MENTORS who will listen and provide encouragement, support and stability.

To learn more about volunteering with Y-NOW, call or email Sadie at 502-855-5143, or saschbacher@ymcalouisville.org.

*All positions require completing a volunteer application, background check, orientation, and agreeing to the YMCA Safe Place Services’ Volunteer Code of Conduct.  Training and ongoing support is provided to all volunteers.  No experience needed.
